UPDATE:On March 3, 2016, Virtusa acquired a majority interest in Polaris Consulting & Services Limited (“Polaris”) to leverage the market presence and deep relationship that Polaris already built in the financial services space. During the integration period, we created a new market facing brand, VirtusaPolaris to represent the combined strengths of Virtusa and Polaris, including our strong software engineering heritage, deep domain expertise and focus on applying innovation to solving critical core business issues for clients. Having successfully completed the integration, we are now moving to the parent brand of Virtusa.

Polaris Day is more than just another annual day. Here is one of the four seasons – the other three being Diwali Mela, Lakshya and Konark Felicitation.
As per tradition, the mornings are filled with presentations from various business units which include formal presentations and creative audio-visuals. This is followed by high quality entertainment from the various units.

Lakshya is a cherished tradition at Polaris. It aligns the organization at the sub-conscious level as it enables the confluence of minds representing our Leadership, Management and Associates. This is a forum, where global leaders come together to shape Polaris future direction.
Lakshya plays a very important role in shaping the history of Polaris. The power of collective energy of all Polaris Associates has been unleashed through every single Lakshya, starting from a humble 100 people Lakshya in 1993 to an event which had a participation of over 11500 associates in 2014. Conceptualizing, visualizing and alignment to our dreams and major goals have been achieved through the various Lakshya sessions.
Polaris today is a result of the articulated aspirations of every Polaris Associate.
However, our aspirations are continuously fueled by changes all around us as well as new opportunities that lie ahead of us. Innumerable ideas, suggestions, and theory on managing the future are debated at length. This forum, thus, serves to legitimize the collective direction that Polaris has elected to embrace and serves as a sub conscious guide as the organization go about responding to the realities over the rest of the year.
At another level Lakshya also serves as a repository of the values and culture that Polaris cherishes so dearly at its daily work. In that respect it also serves as a forum that continuously re-energizes associates to pursue challenges of ever increasing higher order magnitude.
